Locks and Keys

The door to my apartment currently features three locks... two of which use the same key. I've always been confounded as to why this setup exists. If someone were to pick the locks on my door, the second lock would be completely redundant if he/she can get through the first.

If anything there should be a Rube Goldberg device that attacks someone if the locks are opened in the wrong order. It wouldn't be failsafe but I would be highly entertained.

Ridiculous Ideas: Ming's Elevator Dogma

It is my personal belief that all elevators need a laser. A laser with the guidance to go pew-pew at anyone that attempts to go up or down the elevator one floor. I am extremely biased in this opinion but I'm seriously sick of lazy people who think the stairs exist only for escaping a fire.

First Post

I'm going to have to do something about this page design... I'm relatively new to this and currently my blog page looks intensely Modernist. That's going to have to change. I'm personally not a fan of Modernism and I'll probably have some sort of rant about Modernism in product design and architecture in the future.

Anyway, this is a blog that I am planning to write something in every day. It's good to put down musings as a way for oneself to remember and reflect. I'm not sure if people will ever find this blog or if I will attempt to promote it others. Right now it's a vehicle for me to jot down musings for memory and reflection.
